Position Overview

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, accessories, and related wellness products.
- Generate sales through showroom visits, phone calls, website inquiries, social media, events, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Follow up with leads and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, financing, delivery, and installation options.
- Maintain product knowledge through company training and ongoing learning.
- Achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Assist with showroom organization, product displays, and promotional events.
- Other duties as assigned.

Service Technician (Contractor)
Position Overview
Coastal Hot Tubs is seeking dependable, motivated, and customer-focused individuals for Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call Service Technician positions.
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, and related wellness equipment at residential and commercial customer locations throughout Hampton Roads and surrounding areas. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, professionalism, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, and related equipment at customer locations.
- Inspect equipment and identify mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or operational issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, heaters, jets, control systems, plumbing lines, filters, and related components.
- Disassemble equipment as needed to access and replace defective parts.
- Clean, adjust, repair, or replace damaged or malfunctioning components.
- Educate customers on proper operation, maintenance, and care of their products.
- Inform customers of additional products, accessories, and maintenance services available through Coastal Hot Tubs.
- Complete service tickets, warranty documentation, and reports accurately and promptly.
- Obtain customer approval/signatures upon completion of service.
- Collect payments when required according to company procedures.
- Communicate with the Service Coordinator regarding needed parts, schedule changes, and service updates.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in spa, pool, plumbing, electrical, maintenance, or mechanical repair preferred. Equivalent training or experience will be considered.
- Ability to read and follow safety procedures, maintenance instructions, and service manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including email and service software programs.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.
- Mechanical knowledge of pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work with tools regularly.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work Environment
- Outdoor and indoor work environments at residential and commercial locations.

Delivery & Installation Technician (Contractor)
Position Overview
Coastal Hot Tubs is seeking reliable, motivated, and customer-focused individuals for Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call Delivery & Installation Technician positions.
This position is responsible for the delivery, setup, and installation of hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, and related products at customer locations throughout Hampton Roads and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, and related products to residential and commercial customer locations.
- Assist with the setup and installation of products at customer sites.
- Provide customers with basic instructions on operating and maintaining their products.
- Ensure safe loading, unloading, transport, and handling of products and equipment.
- Inspect products before and after delivery to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery documentation.
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service during all customer interactions.
- Assist with moving products in and out of the showroom and warehouse.
- Organize and stock warehouse inventory and showroom products as needed.
- Assist service technicians and installation teams when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, tools, and work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.
- Have own delivery vehicle and tools
- Experience driving trucks, trailers, or large vehicles preferred.
- Previous delivery, moving, installation, construction, or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move 100+ pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, push, pull, and work in physically demanding environments.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
